Tarkine Strings provides elegant live music for weddings and events in North West Tasmania.  We can prepare arrangements of a song that is important to you and perform in a range of combinations including violin, viola, cello, guitar, bass and vocals.

Solo, duet, trio and string quartet performances are available in a range of musical styles including classical, jazz and contemporary.

Our musicians can change instruments and musical styles to cater for the dynamics of your wedding.  For example, we can start with a classical string quartet for the arrival of your guests, the formal ceremony and signing of the register.  We can then transition to a contemporary string band as the formal ceremony concludes and the refreshments are served.
